I’m glad you’re here! I created “Avian Report” to answer questions, discuss bird issues, and tell stories that hopefully help make birds easier for everyone.

Every post is written with the goal of helping someone, from the dedicated birder to the casual observer.

I have been with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, in Florida, for many years working on the conservation of threatened and endangered species.

I look forward to sharing avian tidbits with you on these pages. Hopefully, we will cross paths in the real world someday and chat about birds.
